The month of March!

Well, a lot has happened lately and I can hardly believe how fast time is flying. The month of March is almost over, here are some pictures from this month. Rebecca is moving around lots more. Here she is backed up to the couch, stuck. She was calling to me and this is how I found her. She is so cute and funny. I've been taking lots of springy pictures with Rebecca, even though I've had to do them inside, grrrr. Sometimes I pretend it is spring and take her outside anyway. But it is so cold still! I really can't wait for spring, it is my favorite time of the year.

Here is Rebecca's favorite seat. She will sit on her Daddy's shoulders while he does whatever, for a really long time. She pats his head and pulls his hair. She is not afraid of heights! He walks around with her up there all the time. We were out cleaning the house Seth built a few weeks ago and Rebecca was being fussy, so Seth put her on his shoulders and kept on cleaning windows. She was so happy to be up there!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I used to wear these glasses to school every year on St. Patrick's day, even in high school. Rebecca didn't love them as much as I do, but she'll learn! She kept trying to yank them off. Speaking of yanking things off, she will NOT keep her socks on. It is a daily battle. Her feet are frozen, or I wouldn't care as much, but within 10 seconds of me walking away after putting them on, they are off again. The other day at the grocery store I got tired of picking her socks up off the ground for the 4th or 5th time, so I put them in my pocket. I got some looks from other people like, "you bad mom, it's so cold outside and your poor baby has no socks!!" But I really did try!!

My sister Heidi came up to visit us on her Spring Break from college for a few days. It was fun to have her here to hang out with. We had a good time. She will graduate in a month, and we are so proud of her!!
We got sick, all of us had the flu a few weeks ago. Poor Rebecca threw up a lot, it was her first time ever being sick. She is the most pleasant little sick girl though-you'd never know she was sick, she was so happy! And then all of a sudden...yeah. It was gross. I've never done so much laundry in a week in my life! I'm glad we are all over it now though. We ALMOST made it through the winter with no sickness!!
Here is Rebecca's Easter dress. These pictures are a bit dark, but her dress is so beautiful and she looks like a little princess in it.

And Rebecca was spoiled by the Easter bunny (her grandmas) We had a good Easter Sunday with Seth's family. We went to church in his sister Tina's ward in Smithfield, UT. The program was so nice and I'm so grateful for Jesus and for the new life that his resurrection brings to us all. Easter is such an important holiday, and I was sad to see how commercialized it is becoming--almost as bad as Christmas. I want to teach my kids the true meaning of these special days and help them feel the love of the Lord and understand all he has done for us. Of course, the fun parts are important too, I like to celebrate spring and color eggs and have fun traditions like that too, but we can't forget the reason!!

Seth went on a four wheeler ride with his dad over the Easter weekend, and they had a great time, except for this...little wreck. The four wheeler just stopped and tipped up, dumping Seth off. Thank goodness it stopped there and didn't keep going and land on Seth! Crazy Seth.
Our other news is that Seth got a job with a landscape company here. He started it today and we hope it will be a good job for him for a while. I am relieved that he is stopping the self-employment dream for a while. Maybe I will see more of him now!
